Earline Calvalcante Wood

MRS. EARLINE C. WOOD Mrs. Earline Calvalcante Wood, 72, of Hogansville, died Sunday, October 23, 2011, at Piedmont Newnan Hospital. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 25, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. Pastor Richard Clinard and Pastor Wesley Boatman will officiate and interment will be in Westminster Memorial Gardens in Peachtree City. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 Monday night. Mrs. Wood was born June 25, 1939, in Sand Mountain, Alabama, daughter of the late Joseph Lois Kindred and Martha Young Kindred. A retired retail clerk, she had lived in Hogansville for fifteen years and was a member of Living Waters Baptist Church in LaGrange. Survivors include her husband, Curtis Wood of Hogansville; sons and daughters in-law, Wayne Norred of Hollonville, Nelson and Sandra Norred of Sharpsburg, Jimmy and Cathy Norred of Hogansville; step-daughters, Charlotte Wood of Hogansville and Theresa Greene of Hollonville; brothers, Jay Kindred of Acworth, Rayford Kindred of Alexander City, AL, James Kindred of Bridgeport, AL, Donnie Kindred of Albertville, AL; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and five step-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Paul Douglas Norred; sisters, Ruby Jackson, and Lela Parker; and brothers, William Clayton Kindred and Ralph Lois Kindred. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements. Visitation: from 6 until 8 Monday night, October 24th, at Claude A.
