Dwight W. "Peewee" Todd

MR. DWIGHT W. TODD Mr. Dwight W. "PeeWee" Todd, 61, of LaGrange, died Monday, August 26, 2013, at Hospice LaGrange. The funeral service will be conducted at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 28, at Faith Baptist Church in LaGrange. The Reverend Brad Thompson will officiate and interment will be in Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 Tuesday night. Mr. Todd was born October 4, 1951, in Hogansville and was a lifelong resident of Troup County. A U. S. Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War, he was a graduate of Southern Union State Community College and West Georgia Technical College, and was a licensed paramedic and advanced life support instructor for 25 years. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Paulette Todd of LaGrange; daughter and son in-law, Beth and Kenzil Jackson of Hogansville; son and daughter in-law, Dale and Jessica Todd of LaGrange; grandchildren, Autumn and Amber Todd; his mother, Betty Todd of Hogansville; step-daughter, Tiffany Griffin of Hamilton; step-son, Lee Griffin and his wife, Trindi of LaGrange; step-grandchildren, Matt, Taylor and Jacob; step-great-grandchild, Kadience; his former wife who remained his good friend, Alana Todd; and lifelong friends, Donnie White, Tony Williamson and Janice Garner. He was preceded in death by his father, Howard Todd, and sisters, Celey Todd Bonner and Irma Todd Askew. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
