Dwain Martin Reeves

Mr. Dwain M. Reeves, 82, of LaGrange, passed away Friday, February 14, 2020, at LaGrange Nursing and Rehabilitation. Mr. Reeves was born July 27, 1937, in South Haven, Michigan, son of the late Joseph and Ann Reeves. A resident of Troup County most of his life, he was Baptist by faith and was employed as a truck driver for West Point Pepperell for many years. He was an avid fisherman and hunter and enjoyed playing poker. Survivors include his daughters, Cindy McRae of West Point, Kimberly and Steve Ellis of Birmingham, AL; son, Marty and Wanda Reeves of LaGrange; grandchildren, Benjamin Whitley and his wife Cheyenne, Lindsey Hyslop and her husband Eric, Tyler Hopkins, Ethan Hopkins, Corbin Reeves, Serena Reeves, Mitchell Ellis, Tyler Ellis; great-granddaughters, Cami and Ava; and a niece and nephew, Terrie Kerlin Wilson and Scott Kerlin. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ernestine Booth Reeves. The family will host a celebration of life service at 1:00 p.m., Sunday, February 23, at Gray Hill Community Center at 3600 Bartley Rd., West Point, GA.. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements.
