MRS. DUANE STITCHER MOORE
Mrs. Duane Stitcher Moore, 85, of Newnan, died Friday, September 9, 2011, at her home.
The funeral service will be conducted at 4:00 p.m., Sunday, September 11, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend W. T. Bates will officiate and interment will be in the Corinth Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 Saturday night.
Mrs. Moore was born April 14, 1926, in Chambers County, Alabama, daughter of the late Dennis and Mary Ethel Gamel Stitcher. A resident of Coweta County most of her life, she was a member of Corinth Baptist Church and attended Harrisonville Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Anne Hunt of Hogansville; son and daughter in-law, Dan and Faye Moore of Newnan; grandchildren, Steve Hunt, Daniel Moore, Kenneth Moore, and Jennifer Williamson; ten great-grandchildren; and brother, Ernest Stitcher of Cave City, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her husband, E. W. Moore; brothers, Merle Stitcher and Dennis E. Stitcher; and son in-law, Wayne Hunt.
Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
