Mrs. Dot Bowen Burnham, 91, of Franklin, passed away Wednesday, August 11, 2021, at Piedmont Newnan Hospital.
Born August 15, 1929, in Hogansville, Mrs. Burnham was the daughter of the late William Rufus Bowen and Lucy Hale Bowen. She was a member of the East Point West Church of God, had lived in Heard County since 1985, and was retired from Uniroyal, Inc. in Hogansville. She loved crocheting, fishing, camping at the lake, and playing card games---at which she was known to fudge the rules.
Survivors include her sons, Don Burnham of Franklin, Jack Burnham of Fairburn; daughters, Kathy Thomason (Jimmy) of Villa Rica, Crystal Bagley (Randy) of Douglasville; brother, Eugene Bowen of LaGrange; sister, Adelle Hanners of Hogansville; fifteen grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. In addition to her parents, was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Burnham; son, Richard Danny Burnham; and great-grandson, Alvin Eugene Collins.
The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Monday, August 16, at the graveside in Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Newnan.
