MRS. DOROTHY S. THIBODEAU Mrs. Dorothy Smith Thibodeau, 73, of LaGrange, died Friday, April 9, 2010, at Hospice LaGrange. The funeral service will be conducted at 4:00 p.m., Sunday, April 11, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home. The Reverend Jody Mitchell will officiate, with entombment at Restlawn Memory Gardens in LaGrange. Born October 7, 1936, in Troup County, Mrs. Thibodeau was the daughter of the late Byron C. (Jiggs) Smith and the late Mildred Mashburn Smith. She lived in Troup County most of her life, was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church, and was the wife of the late Jerry Thibodeau. She enjoyed participating in arts and craft shows and loved traveling to Biloxi, MS. Survivors include her son and daughter in-law, Chris and Cheryl May of Hogansville; sister and brother in-law, Margie and Larry Thibodeau of Hogansville; brothers and sister in-law, Jimmy Smith of Hogansville and Ricky and Tona Smith of LaGrange; and three grandchildren, Cody Scott May, Justin Keith Skipper, and Kayla Diane Skipper. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Visitation: from 6 until 8 Saturday night, April 10th, at Claude A.
