Donny L. Phillips

MR. DONNY L. PHILLIPS Mr. Donny L. Phillips, 74, of Grantville, died Wednesday, January 1, 2014, at Roosevelt Warm Springs Institute of Rehabilitation. Born November 13, 1939, in Bradenton, FL, Mr. Phillips was the son of the late Lester and Annie Mae Quinn Phillips. He was a resident of the Hogansville area most of his life, retired as a welder and sawfiler from Mead Corporation in Greenville after thirty years of service, and was a member of Hogansville Church of God. Following his retirement, he made his home in Hobe Sound, FL for ten years before returning to this area in 2008. The body has been cremated and the family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Saturday, January 4. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. Claude A.
