Donna Lynn Whaley

Mrs. Donna Lynn Whaley, 59, of LaGrange, passed away Saturday, June 14, 2025, at Hospice LaGrange.

Mrs. Whaley was born February 3, 1966, in Atlanta, daughter of the late Dewell and Laura Crisp Weldon. A resident of Troup County for a number of years, she had served as a store manager for convenience stores and as the fuel center manager for Kroger in Newnan. She is remembered as a simple person who enjoyed her work, but loved time spent with her daughters and grandchildren.

Survivors include her daughters, Laura Villa (Martin Villa) of Exeter, CA, Alanna Smith of LaGrange, and Brittany Thomas (Curtis Harbin) also of LaGrange; sister, Dena Moon (Richard Moon) of LaGrange; and six grandchildren.

The family is planning a memorial gathering to celebrate Donna's life to begin at 1:30 p.m., Sunday, June 22, at Pavillion A at Sunny Point Access on West Point Lake.
