Donna Legg Brazell

Mrs. Donna Legg Brazell, age 80, passed away Saturday, August 12, 2017, at LaGrange Nursing and Rehabilitation. Mrs. Brazell was born July 12, 1937 in LaGrange, daughter of the late Joe Brown Legg and Vira Mae Smith Legg. A resident of LaGrange most of her life, she lived in Dothan, Alabama for a number of years and in Franklin for five years before moving to LaGrange Nursing and Rehabilitation. She loved her family, her home, and Atlanta Braves baseball. Survivors include her children and their spouses, Chuck and Cindy Brazell of Franklin, Joe and Jodi Brazell of LaGrange, Debbie and Larry Pitts of LaGrange, Becky and Greg Pendergrass of Dothan, Ala.; grandchildren, Chip Brazell, Brandy Anderson, Jay Spradlin, Shaina Coggin, Joseph Brazell, Joseph Alyse, Haley Brazell, Hunter Brazell, Holly Tribble, Kelly Swanson, Wesley Overton, Lauren Pitts, Chase Woody, Jacob Pendergrass, Drew Pendergrass; fifteen great-grandchildren; brother, Glenn and Mary Legg of Calhoun; In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Frank Brazell. The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Monday, August 14, at the graveside in Shadowlawn Cemetery in LaGrange, with the Reverend Meg Jackson-Clark officiating. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements.
