Donald Charles Waumans

MR. DONALD C. WAUMANS Mr. Donald "Don" Waumans, 77, of Hogansville, died Thursday, August 21, 2014, at Piedmont Newnan Hospital. Born September 1, 1936, in South Bend, Indiana, Mr. Waumans was the son of the late Albert and Alice Powell Waumans. He was an Army veteran, retired from Wheelabrator, and had been a resident of Hogansville for 22 years. Mr. Waumans loved fishing, NASCAR, golf, and Notre Dame football. Survivors include his wife of 22 years, Donna Waumans; son, Mark Waumans; daughters, Holly Hosinski and Carla McKinney; step-daughter, Dee Shepherd; and nine grandchildren. The family will host a memorial service at a later date. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements.
