MR. DONALD HAMMETT
Mr. Donald (Dude) Hammett, 66, of Hogansville, the Corinth Community, died Wednesday, August 25, 2010, at his home.
The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Friday, August 27, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Mark Cooper, the Reverend Ray Breed, and Mr. Rick Torrance will officiate and interment will be in the Corinth Cemetery.
Born September 23, 1943, in Corinth, Mr. Hammett was the son of the late Jim Brockman Hammett and the late Kate Kee Hammett. He was a lifelong resident of Corinth, was a cattleman, and attended Antioch Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Hammett of Hogansville; daughters and sons in-law, Melissa and Ray Breed of Hogansville; Donna Baker and Dana and Gordon Windsor, all of Roanoke, AL; brothers; Perk Hammett, Allen Hammett, and Roy Hammett, all of Hogansville, and Bobby Hammett of Riverdale; and seven grandchildren, Kyle, Kody, Joseph, Britteny, Travis, Andrew, and Makayla.
Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements.

Services: 2:00 p.m., Friday, August 27th, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home
Interment: Corinth Cemetery
