MR. DONALD FLOURNOY
Mr. Donald Flournoy, 62, of Greenville, died Wednesday, August 1, 2012, at his home.
The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Friday, August 3, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Jonathan Porter will officiate and interment will be in the Luthersville Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 Thursday night.
Mr. Flournoy was born October 4, 1949, in Greenville, and had lived in Meriwether County for the past twenty years. He served in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam War and was employed as a truck driver for Roberts Components in LaGrange.
Survivors include his wife, Connie Flournoy of Greenville; daughter and son in-law, Shelly and Grady Welborn of Woodbury; son, Chad Flournoy of Greenville; his mother, Ruby Flournoy of Luthersville; sister, Dulinda Hancock of Fairburn; brother, Mike Flournoy of Luthersville; and grandchildren, Lauren Parris, Shawn Parris, Chloe Welborn, and Joseph Flournoy. He was preceded in death by his father, Joe B. Flournoy.
Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements.
