Mrs. Dolores Stanley "Dee" Bradley, 90 of Hogansville, passed away Tuesday, January 7, 2020, at Hospice LaGrange.
Mrs. Bradley was born July 26, 1929, in Atlanta, daughter of the late Clyde and Mildred O'Connor Morris. A resident of the Hogansville area for more than forty years, she earned a Bachelors degree from LaGrange College and a Masters degree from the University of West Georgia, and retired from LaGrange College. She was a former member of the Optimist Club of LaGrange and served as District Governor of the Georgia District of Optimist International in 2005-06. She was a former board member of the LaGrange-Troup County Humane Society and the Troup Child Abuse Council, was a former member of the Red Hat Society, and was a former member of the Hogansville Pilot Club. Mrs. Bradley was a long-time member of Allen-Lee Memorial United Methodist Church in Lone Oak and, in more recent years, she was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Hogansville.
Survivors include her son, Gerald Clyde Stanley of Atlanta; grandchildren, Sheila Stanley Phillips of Hogansville, Russell Dreyer of Dunwoody, and Khris Stanley of Atlanta; great-grandchildren, Kyle Henderson, Zach Phillips, Evan Phillips, and Natalie Phillips; and a great-great-granddaughter, Raeleigh Henderson. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bradley was preceded in death by her husband, Hoke Bradley; and her son, Alan Russell Stanley.
A memorial service will be 4:00 p.m. Saturday, January 11, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home with Dr. Gil Watson officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2 until 4 Saturday afternoon.
