Diana Lynn Engle

Mrs. Diana Lynn Engle, 56, of Luthersville, passed away Monday, February 7, 2022, at Hospice LaGrange. Mrs. Engle was born August 18, 1965, in Atlanta and lived in this area most of her life. A member of Southside Baptist Church in Moreland, she had been employed as a waitress, and loved everyone and enjoyed serving all those around her. Survivors include her husband, David Murphy of Luthersville; step-children, Sherry Marie Murphy of Madisonville, TN and David Allen Murphy, Jr. of Monroe; mother, Carolann Rigsby Campbell of Dayton, Ohio; sisters, Doris and Donny Shelton, Mary and Kenny Shelton all of Luthersville, Patty and Thomas Walthall of Pauline, South Carolina; brothers, Tony Engle of Newnan, Michael Staley of Dothan, Alabama; and five step-grandchildren, Ryleigh Murphy, Landon Murphy, Desirea Murphy, McKenzie Simmons, and Gauge Stephens. She was preceded in death by her father, Clayton Miller Engle. The family will host a memorial service at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, April 30, at Southside Baptist Church in Moreland, with Pastor Donny Shelton officiating..
