Dennis E. Stitcher, Jr.

Mr. Dennis E. “Stitch” Stitcher, Jr., 66, of Newnan, passed away Thursday, November 20, 2025, at his home.

Mr. Stitcher was born May 18, 1959, in Atlanta, son of the late Dennis Eugene Stitcher, Sr. and Janice Jones Stitcher. He lived in Coweta County most of his life and was a retired carpenter.

Survivors include his wife, Marie Stitcher; sons, Shane Massengale and Brian Massengale (Ashley); grandchildren, Beth Adams (Josh), Josee Massengale, Maci Massengale, Bria Massengale, Karly Massengale, Aria Massengale, and Benett Massengale; sisters, Kathy Greenwood (Bill) and Jennie Cole; and brother, Bruce Stitcher (Karen). In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Suzy Greenwood.

The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 24, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Tim Stitcher will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery in Hogansville.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., Monday, prior to the service.
