Mr. Dennis Spradlin, 74, of Moreland, passed away Saturday, April 6, 2024, at Southwest Christian Hospice in Union City.
Mr. Spradlin was born June 25, 1949, in Newnan, son of the late Ruben and Mildred Hendrix Spradlin. A lifelong resident of Newnan, he retired as a mechanical supervisor from MA Industries in Peachtree City and was a member of the Church of God of the Union Assembly. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing and camping.
Survivors include his sons, Chris Spradlin and his wife Brandy Spradlin of LaGrange, and Timothy Spradlin of Newnan; daughter, Ann Asbury and her husband Kenneth Asbury of Sharpsburg; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild; brothers, J.W. Spradlin, Arnold Spradlin, Gardner Spradlin, JoJo Spradlin, and Horace Spradlin; sisters, Patricia Moody, Barbara Emory, and Cathy Washington; and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Matthew Spradlin; sister, Marie Phillips; and brothers, William Spradlin, Robert Spradlin, and Ruben Spradlin.
The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 10, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Jim Harmon and the Reverend Scott Rice will officiate and interment will be in the Luthersville Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 9.
