Dennis M. Bruggeman

MR. DENNIS M. BRUGGEMAN Mr. Dennis M. Bruggeman, 79, of Hogansville, died Wednesday, December 2, 2009, at West Georgia Medical Center in LaGrange. The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 5, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home. The Reverend Sheila Crowe will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery. Born April 4, 1930 in Chicago Heights, IL, Mr. Bruggeman was the son of the late Ernest and Leona Bruggeman. He served in the U. S. Navy from 1951 until 1955 and lived in Thornton, IL for a number of years where he served as city treasurer and as a Little League baseball coach. He had lived at Hogansville since 1980 and retired as a regional sales manager from Trackmobile. Survivors include his companion, Mary Jackson of Hogansville; daughter and son in-law, Terry and Gregory Lorenz of Crete, IL; sons, Dennis Bruggeman, Jr. of Greenwood, IN, Brian Bruggeman and his wife, Melanie Akin, of Carrollton, and David Bruggeman and his wife, Lee Hunter, of Roswell; and six grandchildren, Luke Bruggeman, Alyssa Bruggeman, Sam Bruggeman, Caitlin Bruggeman, Will Bruggeman, and Cory Lorenz. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Bruggeman. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements.
