MR. DENNIS BROCK Mr. Dennis Brock, 90, of Hogansville, died Saturday, June 16, 2012, with his family at his side at the Central Alabama Veterans Health Care Services in Tuskegee, AL. The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 19, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home. Reverend Willow Heim will officiate, with interment in Myrtle Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 Monday night. Mr. Brock was born October 31, 1921, in Bartow County, son of the late John Brock and Lois Logan Brock Williams. A resident of Troup County most of his life, he served in the Army Air Corps in the Bhurma Campaign during World War Two. He owned and operated Brock's Shop in Hogansville for many years, and along with his late wife, Lucile, had participated and served on the board of directors of the Troup County Farmers Market. He was a member and trustee of St. James United Methodist Church in Hogansville, and had been active in the Men's Club. Survivors include his daughter and son in-law, Carol and Bubba Pittman of Hogansville; sons and daughters in-law, Greg and Cynthia Brock of Sarasota, FL, Brad and Denee′ Brock, Bobby and Mary Jane Cleveland, all of LaGrange; brothers, H. C. Brock and Bobby Williams of Hogansville, Felton Williams of LaGrange; sister, Helen Ramsey of Hogansville; and seven grandchildren, Kristin and Carl Holden, James and Alyssa Pittman, Amanda and Brett Barnes, Madison Brock, Elizabeth Brock, Charmaine Cleveland, and Britni Cleveland. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements. Visitation: from 6 until 8 Monday night, June 18th, at Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home Services: 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 19th, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home Interment: Myrtle Hill Cemetery
