Denise Fader Hatfield

Denise Fader Hatfield, 73, of Hogansville, passed away on Thursday, October 22, 2026, at Emory-Decatur Hospital.

Born on January 3, 1953, in Atlanta, Denise was the daughter of the late Leroy George Fader and Betty Jean Hudson Fader Corley. She made Hogansville her home in 1986 and spent many years working as a cashier.

Family was at the heart of Denise's life. She loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren dearly, and her extended family also held a special place in her heart.

Denise leaves behind her loving family, including her daughter, Melissa Honaker and her husband, Bobby, of Hogansville; her son, Doug Hatfield, also of Hogansville; her son-in-law, Michael Clark; her grandchildren, Shawn Searels, Morgan Honaker, Christian Freeman, Isabella Hatfield, and Emma Hatfield; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved daughter, Melanie Clark; and her brothers, Bill Fader and Jerry Corley.

In keeping with Denise's wishes, her family will honor her memory privately rather than hold a memorial service.
