MRS. DELORIOUSE WADE
Mrs. Deloriouse Morris Wade, 72, of LaGrange, died Thursday, March 4, 2010, at Hospice LaGrange.
The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, March 7, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. Dr. Michael Reeves will officiate and interment will be in Restlawn Memory Gardens in LaGrange.
Mrs. Wade was born May 1, 1937, in Hollywood, Georgia, daughter of the late Howard Blake Morris and the late Naoma Pratt Morris. She had lived in Troup County since 1980 and retired from Community Action for Improvement after working in the Headstart Program over 25 years. She was Baptist by faith and was the wife of the late Paul Wade.
Survivors include her daughter, Susan and Russell Denney of Newnan; sons, Richard Wade of LaGrange, Johnnie and Janice Wade of Opelika, AL, Douglas and Elizabeth Wade of Antioch, IL; brothers, David and Janie Morris of Victoria, VA, Rickie and Jean Morris of Hogansville, Michael and Linda Morris of Jonesboro; sisters, Ruthie Patton of Social Circle, Linda Hewatt of Alpharetta, Melody Morris of LaGrange; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation: From 6 until 8 Saturday night, March 6, at Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home
Services: 2:00 p.m., Sunday, March 7, in the chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home
Interment: Restlawn Memory Gardens
