Delores Ann Arrington

Mrs. Delores Ann Martin Arrington, 73, of LaGrange, passed away Monday, November 28, 2022, at her home.

Mrs. Arrington was born August 23, 1949, in Atlanta, daughter of the late James A. Martin, Sr. and Elizabeth Pearson Martin. She spent her early years in LaGrange, earned her Bachelor of Nursing degree from LaGrange College, and worked as a hospital based registered nurse and as a staffing agency based traveling nurse. She lived in Newnan from 1986 until returning to LaGrange in 2017 and loved to read.

Survivors include her daughter, Elizabeth Ann James and her husband Jeffrey Lee James of LaGrange; brother, James A. "Jim" Martin, Jr. and is wife Annell of Hogansville; grandchildren, Kirsten O'Neal, Emily Arrington, Mitchell Arrington, Trevor James, Jacob James, Maggie James, and Bryanna Leigh Arrington; and eight great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Robert Lee Arrington, and her sister, Amy Martin Moncus.

The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 13, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Byrom Martin will officiate and interment will be in the Luthersville Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., Tuesday.
