Dedrick Jerome "Jerry" Stone

Mr. Dedrick Jerome "Jerry" Stone, 61, of LaGrange, passed away, Tuesday, November 7, 2023, at his home.

Mr. Stone was born March 8, 1962, son of the late Phyllis Floyd Stone and James Curtis Stone. A lifelong resident of LaGrange, he was a self-employed carpentry and painting contractor, and also enjoyed small engine repair. Jerry loved his two dogs, Tinker and Rufus, and they were his constant companions.

Survivors include his sons, Dedrick J. "D J" Stone, Jr. of Westminster, SC and Dedrick Railey of Montana; daughter, Robin Stone of Montana; brother, Frank Stone of South Carolina; and sisters, Phyllis Stone and Sharon Stone, both of LaGrange. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Denise Stone.

The family will plan a memorial service at a later time.
