MRS. DEBRA WALTON
Mrs. Debra Wilder Walton, 57, of Grantville, died Sunday, June 22, 2014.
Born May 12, 1957, in Atlanta, Mrs. Walton had lived in Coweta County for the past fifteen years and was a member of The Lighthouse Tabernacle of Jesus Christ in Hogansville. She enjoyed gardening and helping others, and is remembered as a person with a big heart who never met a stranger.
Survivors include her daughters and sons in-law, Heather and Daniel Banks of Luthersville, Shelly "Belle" and Harry "Bear" Behrens of Macon; her mother, Shirley Wilder of Grantville; sister, Tina Brickey of Wawaka, IN; brothers, Scott Wilder of Senoia, Billy Wilder of Hogansville, and Lloyd Wilder of Moreland; granddaughter, Lacie; eight nieces, four nephews, nine great-nieces, and seven great-nephews, who all called her "Ninny." She was preceded in death by her sister, Brenda Watts; and her father, Bernard Wilder.
The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 25, at The Lighthouse Tabernacle of Jesus Christ in Hogansville. The Reverend Robert Longshore and the Reverend David Simmons will officiate and interment will be in the Grantville Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 9 Tuesday night.
