DEBRA ELAINE TARWATER Miss Debra Elaine Tarwater, 46, of LaGrange, died Tuesday, October 19, 2010, at West Georgia Medical Center. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 22, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Tina Deese, the Reverend Jerry Scarbrough, and the Reverend Ray Tarwater, Jr. will officiate and interment will be in Hillview East Cemetery. A lifelong resident of LaGrange, Miss Tarwater was born April 24, 1964, daughter of the late Terry Wayne Tarwater, Sr. and the late Wylene Thomason Tarwater. A former employee of West Point Pepperell, she had also worked for Dollar General and was a member of Independent Church of Worship. Survivors include her brothers, Terry Wayne Tarwater, Jr. and Wendell Merlin Tarwater, of LaGrange; aunts and uncles, Charles and Frances Tarwater, LaGrange, Charles and Pat O'Kelly, Atlanta, and Edna Fields of Greenville. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements. Visitation: from 6 until 8 Thursday night, October 21st, at Claude A.
