MRS. DEBRA BOWDEN PAYTON Mrs. Debra Bowden Payton, age 51, of Grantville, died Sunday, August 10, 2008, at West Georgia Medical Center in LaGrange. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 13, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Richard Campbell and the Reverend L. B. Rooks will officiate and interment will be in Elim Baptist Church Cemetery in Coweta County. Born October 17, 1956, in Coweta County, Mrs. Payton was the daughter of the late Wayne and Mavis Helton Bowden. She was a lifelong resident of Coweta County, was a member of the Baptist church, and was the wife of the late Billy Payton. Survivors include her daughter, Melissa Beckham of Grantville; sisters and brother in-law, Ann Robertson of Newnan and Gale and Marshall White of Grantville; and a granddaughter, Chelsea Beckham of Grantville. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Marsha Pettite, and her brother, Gary Bowden. The Claude A.
