Mrs. Deborah Gay Bragg, 68, of Hogansville, passed away Thursday, April 8, 2021, at Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center. Mrs. Bragg was born February 20, 1953, in Troup County, daughter of the late Earl Manley Gay and Alva Lee Burnham Gay. She was employed at Kleen-Tex Industries for a number of years and retired from Goodwill. She enjoyed crocheting and loved being with her grandchildren. Survivors include her husband, Alton Bragg of Hogansville; her daughter, Tabatha Fomby of Valley, AL; grandchildren, Brayden Waters and Bentlee Waters; and brother, Larry Gay of Canton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-son, Elton Bragg; grandson, Mykie Bragg; sister, Diane Betts; and nephew, Britt Gay The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, April 11, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Jody Mitchell will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 Saturday night. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
