MRS. DEBBIE WHITTEN Mrs. Debbie Whitten, 48, of Hogansville, died Sunday, December 13, 2009, at West Georgia Medical Center in LaGrange. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 16, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend James Calhoun will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery. Born February 4, 1961, in Atlanta, Mrs. Whitten was the daughter of the late Chester Madison Martin and the late Nancy Ann Phillips Martin. She had lived in Hogansville for the past twenty years. Survivors include her husband, Gordon Whitten of Hogansville; daughter, Kasey C. Tucker of Ft. Bragg, NC; grandson, Tristen Tucker; sisters and brothers in-law, Betty and Ronald Colley and Darlene Bartlett, all of Griffin, Linda and Steve Pastore of Greenville, and Faye and Carl Tippens of Jackson; brothers and sisters in-law, Phil and Kaye Vessel of Rabbitown, AL, Eddie and Donna Vessel of Jackson, and Johnny and Sherita Martin of Jonesboro; and a number of nieces and nephews.
