Mrs. Debbie Johnson Cleveland, 62, of Grantville, passed away Friday, September 20, 2019, at her home. Mrs. Cleveland was born December 25, 1956, in Newnan, daughter of the late Ralph Edward Johnson and Mary Spradlin Johnson Henderson. A 1974 graduate of Hogansville High School, she retired as an administrative assistant from Chromalloy of Georgia in Newnan and was a member of Christ Redeemer Church in LaGrange. She enjoyed camping and quilting, but enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren most. Survivors include her husband, Darryl Cleveland of Grantville; son and daughter in-law, Chris and Heather Cleveland of Hogansville; grandchildren, Hunter Cleveland, Kaiden Cleveland, Sophia (Sissy) Cleveland; brother, Randy and Trenee Johnson of Hogansville; step-sisters, Cynthia and Larry Hammock of LaGrange, Penney and Kevin Anderson of Springville, AL; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her mother and father, she was preceded in death by her infant brother, Ralph Edward Johnson, Jr.; sister, Vickie Johnson Murphy; and step-father, Gordon Henderson. The funeral service will be conducted at 4:00 p.m., Sunday, September 22, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville, with Dr. Richard Hanner and the Reverend Joe Sacco officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Sunday. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
