MRS. DEAN HIPP BROWN
Mrs. Dean Hipp Brown, 81, of Suwanee, died Friday, October 24, 2008, at Gwinnett Medical Center in Lawrenceville.
The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 27, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Clinton Hughes will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Brown was born December 28, 1926, in Hogansville, daughter of the late William Hudson Hipp and the late Elma Stone Hipp. A resident tof Gwinnett county since 1990, she lived in Troup county most of her life, was a member of the Baptist faith, and was employed at Mansours of LaGrange for thirty years.
Survivors include her son and daughter in-law, Bobby and Anne Thomas of Jonesboro; daughter and son in-law, Donna and David Overdorf of Suwanee; sister and brother in-law, Dixie and Bob Lee of Social Circle; and granddaughters, Stephanie Thomas Carnevale and Jennifer Overdorf Donahue; and a great-granddaughter, Julia Donahue. She was preceded in death by her husband, James B. Brown, and her daughter, Debbie Thomas Knox.
The Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements.
