David Otis Williamson

Mr. David Otis Williamson, 76, of Hogansville, passed away Saturday, July 16, 2022, at Hospice LaGrange. Mr. Williamson was born December 30, 1945, in Stewart County, son of the late Leonard Otis Williamson and Lois Bradshaw Williamson. A resident of Hogansville since 1957, he was a veteran of service in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War, having served as a flight director on an aircraft carrier. He returned to Hogansville following his military service and was employed as a pressman for Woodbury Business Forms for 40 years prior to his retirement. In addition to his parents, Mr. Williamson was preceded in death by his sisters, Peggy Toney, Martha Keel, Catherine Martin; and his brothers, Danny Williamson and Earl Williamson. He is survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, many cousins and special friends. The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 23, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Terry Rainwater will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 Friday night. Condolences may be expressed at www.mckibbenfuneralhome.com Claude A.
