David Edward Wheeler

MR. DAVID E. WHEELER Mr. David E. Wheeler, 58, of Hogansville, died Friday, January 17, 2014, at his home. Born August 28, 1955, in Chicago, Illinois, Mr. Wheeler lived in Michigan most of his life before making his home in Hogansville in 2011. He was retired from the State of Michigan Fish Hatchery. Survivors include his mother, Dorothy Wheeler of Hogansville; brothers, George A. Wheeler, Jr. of Germany and Geoffrey Wheeler of Hogansville; several nieces and nephews; a number of great-nieces and great-nephews; and best friends, Louise and David Eager of Rio Rancho, NM. A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, January 19, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville, with the Reverend Willow Heim officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home immediately before and after the memorial service. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
