David Allen Smith

David Allen Smith, 48, of Hogansville, passed away Saturday, March 2, 2024, at Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center in LaGrange.

Mr. Smith was born May 3, 1975, in Jonesboro, and spent most of his life in Henry County before making his home in Hogansville a year ago. He loved being outdoors and was employed as a commercial landscaper. He was Pentecostal by faith, loved the Georgia Bulldogs, enjoyed making others smile, and especially loved spending time with his family whom he cared for deeply.

Survivors include his wife, Kimberly Smith of Hogansville; daughters, Jesslynn Smith of Covington, Emily Turner and Lilly Turner, both of Forsyth; son, Hunter Turner of San Diego, CA; mother, Ann Smith and Ronnie Thompson of Jackson; 7 grandchildren, and 1 grandchild on the way. Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his father, Allen Smith, and his grandmother, Hazel Stitcher.

The family is honoring Mr. Smith's wishes that no memorial service be conducted.
