David Leroy Rigsby

MR. LEROY RIGSBY Mr. Leroy Rigsby, 70, of Grantville, died Thursday, September 11, 2008, at his home. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 13, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Jimmy Black, the Reverend Floyd Brand, and the Reverend Donnie Shelton will officiate and interment will be in the Grantville Cemetery. Mr. Rigsby was born May 23, 1938, in Grantville, son of the late John Ralph Rigsby and the late Martha Doris Stowers Rigsby. He was a veteran of service in the Army National Guard and the U.S. Navy, was a lifelong resident of Grantville, and was a member of the Grantville Church of God. Survivors include his wife, Brenda Rigsby of Grantville; three sisters, Betty hall of Newnan, Anita Thomas of Hendersonville, TN, and Carol Ann Campbell of Dayton, OH; one brother, Richard Rigsby of LaGrange; and a number of nieces and nephews.
