David R. Nall Iii

Mr. David R. Nall III, 75, of Marietta, passed away Wednesday, April 25, 2018, at Signature of Tower Road in Marietta. Mr. Nall was born January 4, 1943 in Newnan, son of the late D. R. Nall, Jr. and Dorothy Hurst Nall. A resident of the Atlanta area most of his life, he retired as a pressman from the Atlanta Journal-Constitution after many years of service. He was a Mason and was a member of Luthersville Progressive Primitive Baptist Church. Survivors include his sister and brother in-law, Sue and W.E. (Bill) Pearson of McDonough; nieces and nephew, Lisa O'Conner of St. Augustine, FL, Tina Dunlop of McDonough; Bill Pearson of Atlanta; and several great-nieces and great-nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Patton Nall; his wife, Laura James Deese; and nephew, Daniel Pearson. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 1, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. Elder Chris Hill will officiate and interment will be in the Luthersville Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1 until 2 Tuesday afternoon. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
