David Hubbard

Mr. David Hubbard, 73, passed away Monday, December 19, 2016, at his home in the Rocky Mount Community of Meriwether County. Mr. Hubbard was born February 20, 1943, in Hogansville, son of the late Raymond and Mamie Smith Hubbard. A resident of Meriwether County since 1972, he had owned and operated David's Garage for many years in Luthersville and then in Rocky Mount. Survivors include his wife, Sandra Hubbard of Gay; son and daughter in-law, Donald and Carla Ritchie of Carrollton; sisters and brothers in-law, Betty and Bob Yates of Franklin, Nancy and Joe Henry, Ann and Joe Legg, all of Newnan; brother and sister in-law, Jimmy and Patsy Hubbard of Hogansville; grandchildren, Lee Ritchie, Nicole Cole, and Justin Ritchie; and great-granddaughter, Kyndall Lea Cole. The funeral service will be conducted at 11:30 a.m., Thursday, December 22, , at the graveside in the Luthersville Cemetery, with Donald Brandenburg officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 Wednesday night. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements.
