David B. Gordon

Mr. David B. Gordon, 64, of LaGrange, passed away Thursday, November 11, 2021, at his home. Mr. Gordon was born April 15, 1957, in Newnan, son of the late Beamous and Margie Beall Gordon. A 1975 graduate of Hogansville High School, he earned a Bachelors degree in economics and a Masters in business from LaGrange College and also did graduate work at the University of Georgia. He retired as a construction project manager and always enjoyed spending many months in various locations around the country as he managed projects. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed golf, hunting, fishing, and supporting the Braves, Falcons, and Georgia Bulldogs. Mr. Gordon was a member of Highland Baptist Church in Hogansville. Survivors include his son, William Cole Gordon of LaGrange; daughter, Kelli Neely Hale of Newnan; grandson, Hunter Robert Hale; sister and brother in-law, Kay and Tony Pellicer of Ft. Myers, FL; and sister in-law, Gail Lee Gordon of LaGrange. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patty Camp Gordon; and his brother, Ken Gordon. Friends are invited to visit with the family at the funeral home from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m., Sunday, November 21. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to LaGrange College or to Highland Baptist Church. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements.
