David L. Eason

Mr. David L. Eason, 66, of Sharpsburg, passed away Monday, September 23, 2024, at Piedmont Newnan Hospital.

Mr. Eason was born June 4, 1958, in Newnan, son of the late Willie Dan Eason and the late Betty Hall Eason Arrington. A resident of Coweta County most of his life, he retired as a supervisor from Bonnell Aluminum after more than 40 years of service. He loved music and cars and enjoyed watching westerns, wrestling, football, and movies. He loved to grill and was a very good cook.

Survivors include his daughters, Megan Noel Eason of Newnan, Kayla Jean Santos of Griffin; grandchildren, Jaden Eason, Ava Santos, Amaya Nicole Eason; brothers, Darryl Eason of Florida, Carlton Eason of Griffin; and his step-father, Holland Arrington of Turin. In addition to his mother and father, he was preceded in death by his son, Joseph Daniel "Joey" Eason; and brothers, Timmy Eason and Jimmy Eason.

The funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., Thursday, September 26, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville, with the Reverend Steven Calhoun officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m., Thursday, prior to the service.
