Danny G. Burke

Mr. Danny G. Burke, 59, of LaGrange, passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2023, at Hospice LaGrange.

Mr. Burke was born March 8, 1963, in LaGrange, son of the late Bernard Gene Burke and Linda Caldwell Burke Toney. A lifelong resident of Troup County, he was a member of Hogansville Church of God. He was a very talented musician, enjoyed all types of music, and dearly loved his wife and family.

Survivors include his wife, Anne Burke of LaGrange; sons, Eric Burke and his wife Robbie, and Jamie Turner, all of LaGrange; daughter, Leanne Girard and her husband Michael of LaGrange; four grandchildren, Kodie and Monty Sims, Shelby and Jason Walker, Lauren and Jake Corbett, and William Turner; great-grandchildren, Rachel Sims, Marcus Sims, Alyssa Livingston, Roscoe Livingston, J.T. Thompson, Jewelia Eason, Davina Eason, Severus Corbett, and Elias Corbett; and brothers, Andy and Renee Burke, Milton and Whitney Toney, Donald Toney, Michael Toney, Karl Toney, and Donnie Ray Burke.

The funeral service will be conducted at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, February 18, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Randall Hodge and the Reverend Aaron McCollough will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Saturday.
