DANIEL BRUCE WINTERS

Daniel Bruce "Dan" Winters, 65 of Newnan, passed away on August 7, 2026, at his home.

Born December 1, 1960, in Baltimore, Maryland, Dan spent most of his life in Myrtle Beach and Knoxville. Known for his larger-than-life personality, Dan never met a stranger and filled every room with his vibrant energy. A devoted Tennessee Volunteers fan, his passion for life was matched only by his love for music. Dan was a club DJ in Knoxville, known for his unforgettable karaoke performances of "Turn the Page" and "Brickhouse."

Survivors include his daughters, who were his pride and joy, Alaina (Trevor) Haught of Newnan and Sarah Winters of Chattanooga, TN; brother and best friend, John (Mindy) Winters of Clermont; and four grandchildren. Dan was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Karen Winters.

The family will host a memorial service at 2:00 p.m., Friday, August 14, at Union Baptist Church in the St. Marks Community of Meriwether County with Reverend Brian Haught officiating.
