Daniel George Vincent Shuman

Mr. Daniel Shuman, 32, of Fruithurst, Alabama, passed away Monday, June 6, 2016, at his home. Daniel was born April 20, 1984, in Conyers and was a former resident of Hogansville. He had lived in Fruithurst for the past four years and was employed as a truck driver by Nu-Hot Trucking Company of Rainbow City, Alabama. He loved cars and motorcycles and enjoyed being on the road driving an 18-wheeler. Survivors include his daughter, Brianna Shuman of Heflin, AL; sons, Jacob Shuman, Alan Shuman and Joseph Shuman, all of Hogansville; his mother, Rosemary Shuman of Fruithurst, AL; sisters, Amanda Helton of Hogansville and Mary Shuman of Atlanta; and his nieces and nephew, Tori Shuman, Troy Helton and Tiffany Barnes. He was preceded in death by his father, Dale Shuman, and his sister, Melissa Shuman. A memorial service will be conducted at 5:00 p.m., Sunday, June 12, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville, with the Reverend Terry Rainwater officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4 until 5 Sunday afternoon. Claude A.
