Daniel Mitchell

Mr. Daniel Mitchell, 74, of Easley, South Carolina, passed away Tuesday, January 26, 2021, at Greenville Memorial Hospital in Greenville, South Carolina. Mr. Mitchell was born January 20, 1947, in Heard County, son of the late Herman and Jewell Powell Mitchell. He had lived in South Carolina for a number of years and was a retired self-employed carpenter. Survivors include his wife. Tammy Morrison Mitchell of Easley; sons, the Reverend Jody Mitchell and his wife Tammy of Grantville and Shannon Mitchell of LaGrange; step-daughter, Debbie Hill, also of LaGrange; brother, Buddy Mitchell of Greenville, Alabama; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. The family will host a memorial service at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, February 28, at the graveside in Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery in Franklin, with Rev. Lance Dorrough officiating. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is assisting the family of Mr. Daniel Mitchell.
