MR. DAN C. JARMON
Mr. Dan Chester Jarmon, 88, of Hogansville, died Monday, April 7, 2008, at West Georgia Medical Center.
The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 9, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Floyd Brand will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery in Hogansville.
Mr. Jarmon was born October 7, 1919, in Marshall county, Alabama, son of the late James Matthew Jarmon and the late Agnes Ellen Lowery Jarmon. A resident of Hogansville since 1961, he was a member of the Baptist faith and retired from William L. Bonnell Company in Newnan following 24 years of service.
Survivors include three daughters, Mary Ellen Jarmon and Kathy Davis, both of Hogansville, and Becky Swords of Albertville, Ala.; one son, Lamar Jarmon of Hogansville; two sisters, Marnes Golden of Boaz, Ala. And Minnie Townsel of Kilpatrick, Ala.; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Mr. Jarmon was preceded in death by his wife, Ollie Jarmon; daughters, Barbara Bray and Glenda Cobb; and sons, Dan Arlon Jarmon and Donnie Ray Jarmon.
The Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements.
