MRS. DARLENE CALHOUN Mrs. Cynthia Darlene Calhoun, 54, of Hogansville, died Wednesday, September 10, 2008, at Hospice LaGrange. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Friday, September 12, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Randall Hodge will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Calhoun was born April 23, 1954, in LaGrange, and had lived in Troup county all of her life. She had attended the Hogansville Church of God and had been employed at Douglas and Lomason Company. Survivors include sons and daughters in-law, Kevin and Kim McGhee and Jason and Jacobe Payne, all of LaGrange; Brandon and Kim Payne of Hogansville, and Joe and Amanda McGhee, of Franklin; daughter, Cindy Walker; her mother, Gladys Bowman Walker; her father, Kenneth Dial; sister, Susie Walker; brothers, Johnson Walker and Scotty Walker, all of Hogansville; and eight grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father who raised her, Alvie Lee Walker. The Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements.
