Corine Vaughn Johns

Mrs. Corine Vaughn Johns, 78, of Hogansville, passed away Monday, October 3, 2022, at her home.

Mrs. Johns was born October 5, 1943, in Carroll County, daughter of the late John and Emmie Stitcher Vaughn. A resident of Carroll and Coweta counties most of her life, she was a member of Corinth Baptist Church in Banning.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded death by her husband, Tommy Edward Johns; daughter, Susan Darlene Johns; sons, Roger Wayne Johns, Robert Scott Johns, and Bobby Joe Johns; daughter in-law, Melissa Darlene Johns; granddaughter, Melissa Corine Johns; sisters, Mattie Icola Bailey, Frances Catherine Thompson; and brother, John Henry Vaughn. Survivors include her sister, Sara Allen of Hogansville; seven grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., Friday, October 7, at the graveside in the Whitesburg Cemetery, with Pastor Brian Hosmer officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 5.
