Connie Walker Smith

MRS. CONNIE W. SMITH Mrs. Connie Walker Smith, 84, of Abilene, Texas, died Friday, July 6, 2012, at Brightmoor Hospice in Griffin. Born October 31, 1927, in Eldorado, Oklahama, Mrs. Smith was the daughter of the late James and Alta Walker. She was a longtime resident of Abilene, was a homemaker, and was the wife of the late Donald Ray Smith. Survivors include her son, K. D. Smith of Panama City Beach, Florida; daughter, Teresa Lambert of Abilene; and a sister, Sue Clancy of Ft. Collins, Colorado. Mrs. Smith has been carried to Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home in Abilene, where funeral services will be held, with interment in Elmwood Memorial Park. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville was in charge of local arrangements.
