Connie Darlene Maxwell

Connie Darlene Maxwell, age 68, of Hogansville, passed away Thursday, November 5, 2026, at Florence Hand Home.

Ms. Maxwell was born October 13, 1958, in Chattanooga, TN, daughter of the late Howard Leslie Maxwell and Esther Deanna Cagle Maxwell. A resident of Troup County most of her life, she was a 1976 graduate of Hogansville High School and was employed at Duracell for a number of years prior to her retirement. She loved being with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her sons, Chris Williams (Jennifer) of Hogansville, Kevin Williams and Cory Williams, both of LaGrange; grandchildren, Chelsea, Aubrey, Caden, Collin, Carter, and Lexie; brothers, Tony Maxwell (Beth) of LaGrange, Doug Maxwell (LeAnn) of Hogansville; and her longtime friend that she considered a sister, Jan Wade of LaGrange.

The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 9, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville, with interment in Myrtle Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., Monday, prior to the service.
