Connie Jean Ford

Mrs. Connie Jean Ford, 63 of Hogansville, passed away Sunday, November 12, 2023, at Piedmont Newnan Hospital.

Mrs. Ford was born May 19, 1960 in Fairbanks, Alaska and lived most of her life in Hogansville where she attended Hogansville High School. She loved painting, tending to her garden, and keeping a beautiful home. Mrs. Ford was vocal and fought for what was right, and could even be called "opinionated". She will be deeply missed by her friends and family.

Survivors include her husband, William Ford of Hogansville; daughter and son in-law, Ashley and Chris Smith of LaGrange; brother, Chuck Briskey; mother and step-father, Manona and Billy Hogan, all of Hogansville; and three grandchildren. Mrs. Ford was preceded in death by her father, Vernon Eugene Briskey; sister, Billy Deane Hogan; and her brother, Randy Briskey.

The funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 14, at the graveside in Myrtle Hill Cemetery with the Reverend Randall Hodge officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m., Tuesday.
