Mrs. Colleen Clark Thompson, 71, of Hogansville, passed away Thursday, July 9, 2020, at Piedmont Newnan Hospital.
Mrs. Thompson was born October 29, 1948, in Newnan, daughter of the late Render Terrell Clark and Ruby Smith Clark. A former resident of Grantville, she earned her Bachelor's degree from LaGrange College and was employed for a number of years as a marketing director for Interface, Inc.. She was a member of the International Marketing Association and had been featured in the International Magazine of Meeting Places. She was a former member of the Hogansville Planning Commission, was a member of the Baptist church, and loved her family and music.
Survivors include her husband, Roy Thompson of Hogansville; her children and their spouses, Christopher and Brandee Furlow of St. Simons Island, Kimberly and Johnny Arrington of Hogansville, Vicki Greene of LaGrange, Vanessa and Gary Railey of LaGrange, Venita and Todd Wulffson of Tusctin Ranch, CA; seventeen grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren and three soon to arrive. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Buster Clark and Terrell Clark; and her sister, Ruth Clark Johns.
The family is following Mrs. Thompson's wishes that a private interment be conducted in the Grantville Cemetery.
