MR. CLYDE E. WADSWORTH
Mr. Clyde Earnest Wadsworth, 70, of Franklin, died Thursday, April 26, 2012, at Piedmont Newnan Hospital.
The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, April 29, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Don Howard and the Reverend Brian Hosmer will officiate and interment will be in Star of Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery in Paulding County.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 Friday and Saturday nights.
r. Wadsworth was born July 30, 1941, in Atlanta, son of the late Thomas and Eva Goolsby Wadsworth. He had lived in Heard County for 36 years and retired from Ralston-Purina in Fairburn after 28 years of service. He was a Christian by faith and was an avid hunter and outdoorsman.
Survivors include his wife, Ella Mae Wadsworth of Franklin; son, Clyde Edward Wadsworth of Newnan; daughters, Mary Beth Newman and her husband, Wayne, and Sally Jane Wadsworth, all of Franklin; sisters, Lucille Choran and Maxine Sullivan of Douglasville, Doris Patterson of Carrollton, Dolly Nixon of Whitesburg, Shirley Brown of Hogansville; brother, Freddie Wadsworth of Douglasville; five grandchildren, Matthew Studdard and his wife, Jessica, Steven Studdard and his fiancee′, Kim, Erica Studdard, Adam Wadsworth and his wife, Angie, Trevor Wadsworth; and great-grandson, Jacob Seither.
Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
