Mr. Clyde F. Davis, 67, of Franklin and formerly of LaGrange, passed away Saturday, June 10, 2017, at Hospice LaGrange.
Mr. Davis was born March 6, 1950, in LaGrange, son of the late Harry Jack Davis and Lena Mae Lipp Davis. A resident of Franklin for the past two years, he was a member of Franklin First Baptist Church and was employed for many years at Wehadkee Yarn Mill.
Survivors include his brothers and sisters in-law, Melvin and Tammy Davis of Franklin, Jerry and Vickie Davis of Roanoke, AL, William Davis of Pine Mountain; his dog, Precious; special friends, Dessie Roberts, Jennifer Talley, Aunt Dink, Dean, Kelley and Miles Reece; and a number of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Cathy Davis; sister, Constance Phillips; brothers, Henry Davis and Jack Davis, Jr.
The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Monday, June 12, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Scott Hannah will officiate and interment will be in Restlawn Memory Gardens in LaGrange.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Monday.
